Furnadon + Rubbin

Inspect a Batomon Showdown combination's common full teams, supporting units and battle results by Run Day.

Build notes

Trinket supply → Burn

Abilities · build 26170127

Furnadon gains extra Burn from different owned Trinkets. Rubbin supplies them at battle start; Nekoffin supplies them when Knocked Out.

How it works

  • Collect different Trinkets and let Furnadon cast. Extra copies of an owned Trinket add no further Furnadon Burn.
  • Nekoffin needs a Knockout ability to trigger its gift; ordinary damage hits the Trainer, not individual Batomon.

Getting started

  • Keep Kindlepot while you collect five more Trinkets to evolve it into Furnadon; direct purchase is not listed.
  • Older shop listings place Kindlepot, Rubbin and Nekoffin in Jinto.

Optional support

Conditions to check
  • Rubbin's Normal and Shiny gifts differ. Furnadon counts different owned Trinkets; Dollhime grows when Trinkets are gained, including extra copies.
  • Check the positions and triggers, then fill the remaining slots with damage, protection or support the core lacks.
  • Ability reference: build 26170127. Shop locations use older records; the observed teams' game version is unknown.

Playing Furnadon + Rubbin

These suggestions use build 26170127 abilities. Adapt them to your shop and team; the BatoForge observations below do not reveal purchase order, forms, levels or game version.

Get the core units

  • Look for Common Kindlepot and Rubbin in Jinto. These older shop listings may differ from your game version.
  • Keep Kindlepot while you collect five more Trinkets to evolve it into Furnadon; its counter shows how many remain. Direct Furnadon purchase is not listed.

Build the team in stages

  1. Before the evolution

Keep enough damage and defense for the next battle. Rubbin's battle-start supply and merge gifts advance Kindlepot's counter until Furnadon is ready.

  2. When Furnadon is available

Choose upgrades by the missing role: Furnadon levels raise Burn per different owned Trinket; Normal Rubbin levels raise battle-start quantity. Repeated copies of the same Trinket do not increase Furnadon's scaling. Shiny Rubbin usually changes gift rarity instead, so check the table before spending copies.

  3. When adding support

Add adjacent Steamscuttle for more Furnadon casts, while keeping enough supply, healing and defense. Sell temporary merge units to free space. Dollhime is another option while you keep gaining new Trinkets.

What each level adds

Ability values at levels 1–4. The observed teams' levels are unknown.

Furnadon · Extra Burn per different owned Trinket

Each different owned Trinket raises Furnadon's Burn stat. Repeated copies count once.

Rubbin · Trinkets gained at battle start
FormL1L2L3L4
Normal1 Junk2 Junk3 Junk6 Junk
Shiny1 Rare1 Super Rare1 Legendary4 Legendary

Shiny gifts are random non-unique Trinkets. Higher rarity does not mean more Trinkets at levels 2 or 3.

Place it for the ability

  • Rubbin can supply Trinkets from any slot. Leave spaces beside Furnadon for adjacency support such as Steamscuttle.
  • If using Steamscuttle, place it directly left, right, above or below Furnadon. Diagonal placement does not satisfy its adjacent Fire / Water Charge condition.

Other units for the same role

  • Swoonet as a merge-gift source

Swoonet needs two copies to level up and can level indefinitely, providing more gifts through repeated merges.

  • Furnadon + Nekoffin

Nekoffin supplies a Trinket when Knocked Out. It needs a Knockout source, plus revival if you want to use it repeatedly.

When to pause or change the plan

  • Keep Kindlepot until its counter is complete when possible. If progress stalls or the evolution is unavailable, prioritize units that can win the next battle.
  • If Furnadon cannot get casts before the battle ends, more inventory alone does not solve that timing problem.
  • Scavenger adds copies to non-unique Common and Uncommon gift choices. Do not budget extra Rubbin battle-start Trinkets from that gift-only bonus.

Edit and review your team

  1. Check cast timing.

Furnadon in the calculator → Set your form, level and Cooldown Speed. Normal starts at 5 seconds and Shiny at 4 seconds; the listed level upgrades leave that base timer unchanged.

Steamscuttle in the calculator → Check Steamscuttle's cooldown too. Its Charge advances other timers; the calculator does not simulate that effect or inventory-based Burn.

Set your form, level and Cooldown Speed in the calculator. Links start at Normal, level 1 and +0% speed; results estimate the cooldown timer.

  2. Edit positions, then review ability conditions.

Edit this team in Team Builder → Arrange the six slots, then check that each ability reaches the right ally and meets its type and trigger conditions.

Opens a team example from this period. Its label shows whether the positions were observed, estimated, or chosen only to display the units. Set the actual forms and levels; Team Builder starts at Normal, level 1. It shows stats and which slots an ability reaches. Check type restrictions yourself; it does not simulate battles, Trinkets or permanent growth.

  3. Compare with the current observations.

See the full teams and position samples below →

Compare the sample sizes and dates below. These repeated observations favor teams that survive longer, and the observed teams may differ from the wider player population. They do not prove which build counters another or which upgrade order is best.
