Using Bug Catcher
Your first eligible Bug purchase each day costs up to $10 less. Bug Catcher works well with a flexible shopping list: several useful Bug species give you more ways to save money while improving the board.
When it fits
Look for a Bug that fills an open role or completes a merge. You can build the rest of the team with other types; the daily discount only needs one useful purchase.
How to use it
Check the shop before spending on rerolls. Bargain Bin pays for an eligible Common Bug first, leaving Bug Catcher’s discount available for another Bug. An already-free purchase also leaves the discount available. Check the shown price when using several discounts.
Example
With no other discounts, a $4 Bug becomes free, while a $15 Bug still costs $5. Spending $5 solely to find the $4 copy costs more than the purchase saving.
What you give up
An unwanted discounted copy still takes space. Keep enough money for your team’s urgent upgrade instead of chasing a particular Bug after the cheap opportunities are gone.
