BatoForge strategy notes
Using Shopkeeper
Shopkeeper stocks Items one rarity tier higher and cuts their prices by 15%. It is an economy for Item purchases, with the normal daily purchase allowance still in place.
When it fits
It fits a team with clear uses for Items and enough money to buy them. If most of your gold goes into Batomon duplicates, compare how often you would actually use the higher-tier stock.
How to use it
Read an offered Item’s target and duration, then compare its discounted price with the next useful Batomon upgrade. Plan a second Item purchase only if you also have an effect that extends the day’s allowance.
Example
A $20 Item would cost $17 with only the 15% discount. For prices that produce fractions or involve other modifiers, use the price displayed in the shop.
What you give up
A discount still spends money, and higher rarity can bring effects your board has little use for. Buy to fix a particular weakness instead of treating every improved offer as a reason to spend the allowance.
