Using Mysterious Mask
Mysterious Mask lets you choose another Trainer ability. The useful pairing depends on the actions and resources your team already uses.
When it fits
Look for an ability that supports your damage type, a resource loop, or upgrades you already intend to make.
How to use it
Read the offered abilities in full. Separate combat triggers from shop and gift triggers, then count the opportunities left to use them.
Example
With several merges planned, a gift-related ability has future triggers to work toward. After the team has finished merging, an immediate combat ability becomes easier to use.
What you give up
Judge the actual menu before planning a combination. Duplicate-ability stacking is unconfirmed, and competing incentives can make both abilities harder to use.
