Using Locked Box
Locked Box rewards your next loss with a random non-unique Trinket at the highest rarity allowed by shop rank.
When it fits
It can help recover when you have a life to spare and a random reward at the current tier could improve the board.
How to use it
Keep fielding the strongest team. Check the current shop rank for the reward tier, then compare the uncertain Trinket with Fake Diamond's flexible cash payout.
Example
If shop rank allows Rare as the highest tier, a qualifying loss can give a random non-unique Rare Trinket. Its fit with your surviving team determines its value.
What you give up
The reward applies to the next loss only. If that loss ends the run, it cannot fund a recovery; deliberately losing also spends a life.
