Using VIP Pass
VIP Pass removes Common and Uncommon stock from future shops, including Items. Finish purchases from those rarities before taking it.
When it fits
It suits a team whose low-rarity merges are done, with affordable higher-rarity targets still to find.
How to use it
List all remaining monster and Item purchases, then check their rarities. Shop rank still determines which higher rarities are available.
Example
If an upgrade needs a Common duplicate and a Rare recruit, the pass closes the Common shop route while leaving the Rare search possible.
What you give up
The filtered pool still needs useful targets and gold. Taking the pass before a required low-rarity merge can close off an easy upgrade.
