Using Rainbow Berry
Rainbow Berry gives every monster +4 Damage per unique type on your team. Each type counts once, even when several units share it.
When it fits
Mixed teams with useful direct-Damage skills can gain coverage without replacing their core.
How to use it
List all distinct types, including extra types. Protect essential supports and merges first, then see whether a useful recruit adds a new type.
Example
Fire, Water, and Flying give three unique types and +12 Damage per monster. A fourth type raises that to +16; another Fire-only unit leaves +12.
What you give up
Adding a weak unit for its type can lose more than +4 Damage is worth. Same-type synergy and non-Damage roles still deserve their slots.
