Using Rainbow Pearl
Rainbow Pearl makes shop monsters Shiny. That opens access to different abilities when you are still recruiting.
When it fits
It suits a team looking for particular Shiny skills, with enough gold to purchase the offered units.
How to use it
Compare the offered form with its normal version, including level, targets, and triggers. Buy it when those abilities improve the role you need filled.
Example
A support candidate may change its trigger or target in Shiny form. Those changes can matter more to your formation than a larger ability value.
What you give up
The pearl changes shop offers, leaving current units as they are. You still pay for recruits and need space; a finished team may have little use for the change.
