Using Mega Upgrade Disc
Mega Upgrade Disc adds one extra level when a monster reaches level 3, then destroys itself. Plan which unit reaches that point first.
When it fits
It fits a desirable recipient close to level 3. Check what the next level adds before spending copies.
How to use it
Gather the copies for the intended merge and finish it before another unit reaches level 3. Owning an existing level-3 monster alone does not trigger the disc.
Example
If a support and carry are each one merge from level 3, upgrading the support first can give it the extra level. Finish the carry's merge first if that is your intended recipient.
What you give up
The reward is one-time. A different unit can consume it before your preferred recipient, making merge order part of the cost.
