Using Arcade Coins
Arcade Coins gives ten free rerolls to search for copies, replacements or a missing role. Keep enough gold to buy the useful offers you find.
When it fits
It is useful when several possible purchases would improve the board and those monsters can appear at the current shop rank.
How to use it
Reserve purchase money first, then refresh. Check each shop for playable upgrades rather than searching past everything except one species. You can stop once the immediate weakness is solved.
Example
If you can afford two purchases and would otherwise have money for only three paid rerolls, the ten free rerolls let you inspect more shops. Your purchase budget still covers two units.
What you give up
The next battle improves only if the search produces purchases. With no money left to buy, a direct combat bonus can help sooner.
