BatoForge strategy notes
Using Mysterious Trainer
Mysterious Trainer belongs to a special encounter. It grants MissingN and is unavailable as an ordinary starting Trainer or a Masked Man choice.
When it fits
Use this entry when the associated event appears. For an ordinary run, use the available starting Trainers and Masked Man options.
How to use it
Read the full event choice and inspect MissingN if offered. Its shown ability, level, typing, and support needs determine whether it can take a place on your current team.
Example
On a full six-unit board, taking a new recruit means choosing which existing unit could leave. Compare that replacement with the event’s other options before giving up a functioning support link.
What you give up
The short “Gain MissingN” passive gives little detail about the event’s cost or the granted unit. Make the decision from the reward displayed in that encounter; a rare recruit can still be a difficult fit.
