Using Purple Incense
Purple Incense restricts the next five shops to Super Rare monsters. It focuses that search while blocking other monster rarities.
When it fits
Several acceptable Super Rare recruits or duplicates, plus enough gold to buy them, make the restriction easier to use.
How to use it
List the Super Rare roles you need before taking it. Count the restricted shops as you go and look for those roles, keeping species selection flexible.
Example
A team needing a Super Rare duplicate and a Common support can search for the duplicate during those five shops, but must wait to buy the Common.
What you give up
Finish essential purchases from other rarities first. The five-shop restriction can leave you unable to recruit a different role when the team needs it.
