Using Grow Lamp
Grow Lamp lets Grass monsters level up with two matching copies. It saves a copy on the first upgrade, which normally needs three level-1 copies.
When it fits
It fits Grass units with unfinished merges. A normal level-2 merge already uses two level-2 copies, so the first upgrade offers the clearest saving.
How to use it
Check that the copies match in species and level. Compare their upgraded abilities before buying more copies, then use the newly reachable merges.
Example
Two level-1 copies of one Grass species can complete its next level-up, without waiting for the usual third level-1 copy.
What you give up
The benefit comes through future Grass merges. A team with no Grass units or no useful upgrades left has little reason to take it.
